Kansas Insurance Certificate

The Kansas Insurance Department has teamed up with the Kansas Insurance Education Foundation to support the Financial Services Leadership Program, which offers students the opportunity to receive the Kansas Insurance Certificate. In conjunction with a baccalaureate degree, this certificate program can help students get that extra step ahead on the road to a rewarding career.
TAKE 4 - Each student completes a program specific, introductory level course worth three credit hours, followed by completion of three approved courses determined by each participating institution for a total of 12 credit hours. Courses could be from categories such as life and health insurance, financial planning, property and casualty insurance, retirement and employee benefit planning, sales and data analytics, as well as include any financial services or insurance related internship.
A STEP AHEAD - Many financial services firms in Kansas are supporting this certificate program , by offering opportunities for internships and careers to new employees who have completed the Kansas Insurance Certificate. The program provides a unique opportunity to get an extra step ahead on a rewarding career.
