Proposed Regulation KAR 40-3-55

K.A.R. 40-3-55. Fire and casualty insurance; certain premium surcharges prohibited.  No insurer writing motor vehicle insurance in this state shall surcharge a premium or place a consumer in a higher rated tier for submitting any motor vehicle accident claim with damage totaling less than $1,000. No surcharge shall be charged for any claim filed more than three years after the date of the claim.
