K.A.R. 40-7-26. Public
adjuster; examinations. (a) The public adjuster licensing
examination shall test the applicant's knowledge in the following areas:
(1) The laws of Kansas, including the following:
(A) The pertinent provisions of the statutes of Kansas; and
(B) the regulations of the insurance department;
(2) duties and
responsibilities of a public adjuster; and
(3) basic insurance.
(b) Each applicant shall be
required to score at least 70 percent on the examination, unless the applicant
is exempt.
(c) Each applicant shall be
advised of eligibility to take the examination by the commissioner or the
commissioner's designee, unless the applicant is exempt. (Authorized by K.S.A.
