Article 4. Accident and Health Insurance

40-4-31 Same; standards for benefits, accident only coverage.

“Accident only coverage'' means a policy of accident insurance which provides coverage, singly or in combination, for death, dismemberment, disability or hospital and medical care caused by accident. Accidental death and double dismemberment amounts under such policy shall be at least $1,000 and a single dismemberment amount shall be at least $500.
