Article 15. Variable Annuities or Separate Accounts

40-15-2 Same; qualification of insurance companies.

(a) Before any company shall deliver or issue for delivery variable contracts within this state the company shall submit to the commissioner of insurance a general description of the kinds of variable contracts it intends to issue.

(b)  A copy of the statutes and regulations of the domicile state under which the company is authorized to issue variable contracts shall be submitted upon the commissioner's request.
