Grants & Projects

Through an Early Innovator Exchange grant, the State of Kansas has linked its Health Benefit Exchange plans with an ongoing project to implement a new state-of-the-art Kansas Medical Eligibility Determination (KMED) system. An expanded KMED project will support eligibility determinations for the Exchange as well as Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
